What brands do you print on?

We print our t-shirt designs onto Gildan heavyweight ultra which uses either 100% pre-shrunk cotton or 50% cotton and 50% polyester. All our t-shirts are manufactured in Honduras and we print all the designs ourselves, right here in England. We print our sweatshirt designs onto Fruit of the Loom set-in sweat which uses 80% Cotton and 20% Polyester. All our sweatshirts are manufactured in Morocco and again we do all the printing ourselves.

How do I know what size to order?

On every individual product page we have a pop out sizing chart that gives you all the detailed dimensions you will need.

What type of printing process do you use?

We personally hand screen print all our t-shirts using the highest quality plastisol inks and we print all of our sweatshirts using superior vinyl and a serious amount of heat.

How should I care for my clothing?

We suggest that you flip any clothing you purchase from us inside out when washing or ironing them. We also suggest that you machine wash cold and hang to dry for optimal results.

Will the print ever fade?

The simple answer is, yes. Overtime through regular use and washing your print is likely to fade.

Will you notify me when you release a new design or restock a current design?

Do you accept designs from third parties?

To date we have not accepted any third party designs but we would love to see what you can do. Please send any artwork or design ideas to, [email protected] and we can take a look.

How secure is this store?

Our online store uses PayPal for payments. Paypal uses the latest encryption technologies to make any sure any online transactions are of the highest security level commercially available.

Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?

No, although our store will take you through to the Paypal website to complete your transaction you will be able to enter your card details without having to create an account. Any transactions you make without using an account will remain equally as safe.

What is your exchange and return policies?

Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. In general, unworn clothing can be exchanged within 15 days of delivery. Please include a copy of the packing slip that was sent with your original purchase. If a product is defective, it may be exchanged for a new product which will be shipped to you at no additional charge. How long does it take for my order to arrive?

If you order in the UK your order will before 4pm GMT your order will take 3-4 working days to be delivered. Anything ordered after 4pm will take 4-5 working days.

What shipping method do you use?

All our orders are shipped using Royal Mail First Class delivery.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to almost every country in the world. *Please note: Orders shipped outside of the UK are subject to your local regular customs duties and any extra fees levied by the destination country.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders in the UK are have absolutely zero shipping costs and all international orders are charged at £5.00 for a single item with an additional £1.50 added on to each extra item.

Who operates yellowdog?

We do! The Mackie brothers and we are Chris, Alex and Dom. We founded yellowdog in 2010 and have strived to produce screen printed clothing of the highest calibre by focussing on the concept of simplicity using bold shapes and clean lines. We pride ourselves on the ability to envisage, design and create each garment from start to finish.

Where did the name come from?

The term yellowdog comes from two simple words….sort of;

Hello - /hel-oh/
Noun: way of saying hello to a friend, usually human.
mispronounced version: yellow

Dog - /dawg/ noun: friend of the same sex, usually male. Derived from the mean streets of Godalming. plural: dogs

What platform does your website run on?

The yellowdog website is powered using a complicated custom built template that has been infused into a Big Cartel platform. Just like everything at yellowdog, time, patience and persistence is key.

Who designs your shirts and who does your photography?

From the designing of the text on our hem tags to researching the enormous range of pantone colours, we cover every aspect of design, marketing and production. Quite simply, we do it all.
